The Severna Park Racquetball and Fitness Club houses a total of 8 racquetball courts. All courts feature panel walls over concrete and are viewable from above. Court 1 is a true championship court with a glass back wall and stadium seating for 100+. The club also features a full cafe with food, sports drinks, and beer. In addition, SPRFC provides a full range of fitness, recreation and sport activities, including an olympic size pool, for all ages in a friendly, comfortable environment.

**IMPORTANT** Due to the expected large draw the tournament will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, April 20. Everyone will play on Friday, please plan accordingly. If you are playing a skill division (i.e., Open, Elite, A, B, C, D) then your chance of playing early on Friday is very high. Lasty, we will not be considering time constraints.

All participants will receive a performance-wear tournament shirt. Breakfast and Lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dinner on Friday and Saturday.

Official Rules

USA Racquetball Official Rules will govern competition, including the mandatory use of protective lensed eyewear tested to ASTM F803 or CSA impact standards.

age requirement
For age division competition, players must meet the proper age requirement as of the first day of the tournament.

qualifier
All players who intend to enter the U.S. National Singles Championships must pre-qualify at a designated Regional Championship or recognized alternate qualifier. For distance and medical waiver information, please go to usaracquetball.com

eligibility
You must be a U.S. citizen or full-time resident.

residence
Only U.S. citizens may compete in the open divisions; all other age and skill divisions are open to U.S. citizens and residents.

membership
A USA Racquetball membership is required of all participants. At registration, entrants must present a current membership card, an application receipt, or a cancelled check indicating recent enrollment as proof of membership – or purchase a membership on site.

skill level certification
Skill level entrants (A, B, C, D divisions) must be AmPRO certified at that level, OR have played in the same division for the three months immediately prior to the event, OR be approved by the state director or representative as being legitimately competitive in the entered skill division at the regional level. Tournament directors will use these benchmarks to determine eligibility for skill competition, and reserve the right to re-classify or disqualify players when/if they are improperly placed.

• guidelines
**Players are encouraged to check in at the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time. If a player has not checked in and is not ready to play 15 minutes after their match has been called to a court, they will receive a forfeit for that match.

All matches will be monitored and sandbaggers will be forfeited with no refund.

Players may enter a maximum of two (2) events.

Player will forfeit if not checked in at the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to scheduled playing time.

Tournament directors have the right to deny or reclassify any entrant.

Divisions may be combined or eliminated if there are not enough entrants.

No consolation rounds will be offered.

Juniors are eligible to play in both adult and junior divisions.
