The Severna Park Racquetball and Fitness Club features 8 immaculate racquetball courts. All courts feature panel walls over concrete and are viewable from above. Court 1 is a true championship court with a glass back wall and stadium seating for 100+. The club also features a full cafe with food, sports drinks, and beer. In addition, SPRFC provides a full range of fitness, recreation and sport activities, including an olympic size pool, for all ages in a friendly, comfortable environment.

The MWRA plans to hold its general election on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at the Severna Park Racquetball and Fitness Club between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. during the Season Opener Shootout. All current USAR/MWRA members are encouraged to attend and exercise their right to vote.

• starting times
Call the club at 410.987.0980 after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20 or check online at http://www.mwraweb.com. Play will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22. Be prepared to play early.

• hospitality
Leftover shirts from previous tournaments for all participants. Saturday, breakfast, lunch and dinner; Sunday, breakfast and lunch. Fruit and drink provided throughout the tournament.

• official rules
  • •Eyewear• USA Racquetball Official Rules will govern competition [available for reference online at www.usaracquetball.org], including the mandatory use of protective lensed eyewear tested to ASTM F803 or CSA impact standards.
  • •Age Requirement• For age division competition, players must meet the age requirement as of the first day of competition
  • Membership• USA Racquetball membership is required of all participants. At registration, entrants must present a current membership card, a receipt, or a cancelled check indicating recent enrollment as proof of membership, or purchase an annual membership on site for $35 -OR- a limited event membership for $15.
  • Officiating• All players must report to the tournament desk after their match for referee assignments. All players will be required to referee, find a suitable substitute, or forfeit from their division.

**Players are encouraged to check in at the tournament desk 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time. If a player has not checked in and is not ready to play 15 minutes after their match has been called to a court, they will receive a forfeit for that match.

All matches will be monitored and sandbaggers will be forfeited with no refund.
Players may enter a maximum of two (2) events.
Tournament directors have the right to deny or reclassify any entrant.
Divisions may be combined or eliminated if there are not enough entrants.
Juniors are eligible to play in both adult and junior divisions.
All first-round Open division losers will be placed in an Open consolation round.
